A personal note

Choosing to center Black women in luxury fragrance is a bold act. I chose to do it anyway.

SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS was established by a Black woman to tell the stories, preserve the memory, and honor the cultural presence of Black women through fragrance. The Maison does not approach this work as decoration, reference, or trend. It approaches fragrance as authorship.

Each composition begins with a story. From there, I consider structure, contrast, texture, movement, and the emotional life of the materials themselves. Nothing is included merely to fill space. Every raw material must contribute to the whole.

The fragrances of SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS are Parfums Absolus composed at 30% concentration. They are intentionally expressive and should not be judged by the first spray alone. The opening is an introduction. It is not the full composition.

Allow the fragrance to settle. Give it time to move through its architecture and reveal its character on your skin. What begins boldly may soften. What first appears familiar may become unexpected. The composition will continue to unfold, shaped not only by the materials within it, but by the person who wears it.

I do not compose fragrance to imitate what already exists, nor do I refine it until every tension has disappeared. I believe beauty can hold contradiction. Fragrance can be polished without becoming predictable, and luxurious without surrendering its identity.

SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS is for those who want more than something pleasant to wear. It is for those who understand fragrance as presence, memory, and a language capable of carrying stories that have too often been excluded from luxury.

You may not find yourself reflected in every composition. You are not meant to. But you should encounter something deliberate, something alive, and something that asks you to remain long enough to understand it.
