The Call
This portrait marks the moment I understood I was deeply loved by God and therefore free to become who I was created to be.
It is not a depiction of my face, but the spirit of my becoming. A woman seated in obedience. A mother standing in legacy. A creator no longer resisting her assignment.
Behind me are my daughters, present not as memory, but as promise. They remind me that calling is never singular. It is always carried forward.
This work exists because I answered.
The Anointing Behind the Maison
I was called into fragrance long before I understood its language. Every joy, every wound, every closed door, every unexpected beginning was preparation.
This work is not born of ambition.
It is the outpouring of brokenness met by obedience.
This is not chance.
It is assignment.
My work is guided by the Holy Spirit. I compose from faith, from truth, and from the ways God has always spoken to me through memory, discernment, and fragrance.
These are not products. They are legacies breathed into existence.
Worn in remembrance.
Passed forward with purpose.
SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS is a maison born of survival, shaped by resilience, and sustained by divine guidance. Every extrait and l’absolu de parfum carries the imprint of that calling.
Created with intention.
Carried with reverence.
Felt with the soul.
Meant to last beyond me.
This is my truth.
This is my sanctuary.
This is the anointing behind the Maison.

This is the moment everything shifted — the moment Spirit met me at the water.
THE STORY BEGINS…
There are many places I could begin, but the truth is this:
Kiawah Island, South Carolina was the awakening I didn’t know I needed.
Before that trip, I was exhausted.
I was carrying a toxic workplace on my back, trying to survive environments that were never meant to hold me, shrinking myself to fit in, misaligned in every way a woman can be misaligned.
I arrived in South Carolina weary.
I returned home free.
Walking the grounds of Magnolia Plantation, standing in the presence of the ancestors whose strength runs through my very breath, I felt something break open inside me — something ancient, something holy, something that had been waiting for me to stop resisting my calling.
Three days after that trip, I was fired.
At first, I thought it was the end.
But it wasn’t.
It was the release.
It was the clearing.
It was the permission.
It was God saying:
“You are done with what harms you.
Now walk in what I gave you.”
On that ocean, my arms open, wind at my back, I felt the Holy Spirit say:
This is the beginning.
This is the calling.
This is the creation.
And from that moment forward, SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS was no longer a business.
It became my assignment.

Standing on the grounds of Magnolia Plantation, surrounded by the breath of the ancestors, something inside me shifted.
Something ancient.
Something holy.
Something that knew before I knew.
In that moment, under those trees whose roots run deeper than memory, I felt a breaking—not a collapse, but an opening.
An unveiling.
A permission to stop resisting what God had been whispering to me for years.
This was the place where I stopped shrinking.
Where I stopped dimming.
Where I stopped carrying what was never mine.
This was the place of breaking open.
The place where the assignment began to rise.

For years, I punished myself.
I needed no enemy.
I doubted the call on my life, convinced I was too flawed, too chaotic, too scarred to be chosen.
And the truth is — I don’t deserve it.
But grace isn’t about deserving.
My story is messy, complicated, beautiful… and yet God still saw fit to whisper to me:
“I see you. I hear you. I love you.”
Standing inside the enslaved quarters on Magnolia Plantation, surrounded by walls papered with the remnants of other people’s lives, I felt a deep pull in my spirit. I imagined the dreams that must have lived — and faded — within those walls. The whispered prayers. The work done in secrecy. The hopes they held for their children’s children.
And in that moment, I understood:
The assignment is legacy.
What they could only dream of, I get to complete.
What was stolen from them, I get to rebuild.
What they endured, I get to transform.
This calling is not about me —
it is about the generations that opened the path,
and the God who entrusted me to walk it.
This is my assignment.
And I will complete it.

When I stood in front of that wall — surrounded by the faces of those who came before me — something settled in my spirit.
I was no longer the woman shrinking herself to survive.
No longer carrying the weight of places that tried to silence me.
No longer pretending to be small.
I stood there lifted, rooted, claimed.
I AM.
Still here.
Still becoming.
Still called.
This is the woman God released me into.
This is the woman my ancestors dreamed of.
This is the woman who creates from Spirit — unapologetically, boldly, freely.
This is who I bring into SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS.
