It took me years to understand and admit that I had lived within violent and emotionally abusive relationships. I did not have the language for what I experienced in college or in the years that followed. I was raised in a loving home without violence, so when abuse entered my life, I did not recognize it for what it was. I only knew that I felt afraid, silenced, and unseen.

I called the National Domestic Violence Hotline more than once, searching for clarity and questioning my own reality. I wondered if what I was experiencing qualified as violence. Each time, someone answered. Each time, I felt less alone. Those conversations became lifelines. They gave language to what I had endured and reminded me that my voice still belonged to me.

Healing did not arrive all at once. It unfolded slowly, through therapy, through faith, and through the quiet work of reclaiming myself. My faith in God anchored me when I could not stand on my own understanding. It restored my sense of worth, my peace, and my authority over my own life. That work continues. Healing is sacred work.

I am also honored to partner locally with S.H.A.R.E. House Family Violence Crisis Center, serving Douglasville and Paulding County in Georgia. S.H.A.R.E House recognized the heart of MON ANGE immediately. Our partnership extends beyond financial giving. Finding a local partner who understood the heart of SANCTUAIRE DE FLEURS and the sacred intention of MON ANGE required patience and discernment. I prayed for alignment, not activity. I asked God to lead me to a place where the work would be received with care and understanding. That prayer led me to SHARE House.

Located in the Atlanta metro area, S.H.A.R.E. House serves women and families in Douglasville and Paulding County who are experiencing domestic violence. From our first conversation, they recognized the deeper purpose behind the Maison. They understood that MON ANGE is not simply fragrance. It is a reminder that a woman’s life remains valuable, whole, and worthy of beauty, even after harm. It affirms that she is seen. That she is remembered. That she matters.
